- When are the applications due?
Applications should be received at the Georgia Soccer office no later than Friday, March 24, 2006.
- How do I enter my team?
Fill out the on-line application form. The application will be available in late February.
- What do I do about my regularly scheduled game if my team makes it to the President’s Cup finals on May 6?
Congratulations. All teams that advance to the finals will have their May 6 game rescheduled.
- Can I play a regular season make-up game on the weekend of April 29-30?
Teams that are eligible for the President’s Cup will not be scheduled for make-up games on April 29-30. The President’s Cup is offered as a State Championship event for *Classic 3 & lower and Athena B, C & D teams (see below) and it will be treated with the importance of a State Championship event. It is the hope of the GYSA Board and the President’s Cup committee that eligible teams will be excited to have their own State Championship and that the event will grow in stature and importance each year.

- Are u10 and u11 teams eligible to participate in the President’s Cup?
Yes, all u10 and all u11 Academy and Select teams are eligible to participate in the President’s Cup.
- Can teams play in both the President’s Cup and State Cup?
No, teams can play in only one State Championship event per year.
- Can a player play in both the President’s Cup and State Cup?
Yes, a player may play in the President’s Cup and then can transfer, within GYSA rules, to a team that is playing in the State Cup.
