 The Georgia Soccer Internship Program is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in sports management, general administration, marketing, and event management all while earning college credit. Position Summary

 
The Georgia Soccer intern will have the opportunity to experience and support a variety of functions within a nonprofit sport-specific membership organization.  
 

Position Details   

 
  • The selected candidate’s responsibilities may include:
  • General administrative tasks
  • Member administration support
  • Market research
  • Support for daily finance department functions
  • Assistance with event management, planning, and implementation
  • Independent projects
 

Desirable Attributes for Applicants

 
  • Major in Sports Management
  • Marketing or Management background
  • Sports Industry experience
  • Ability to receive college credit for internship experience
  • Planned career in Sports Management
 

Internship Policy

 
  • Interns are paid a $600 a month stipend for full-time work; if an alternate schedule is arranged, the stipend will be adjusted.
  • Work schedules and the length of internship are somewhat flexible, but we reserve the right to not offer or to withdraw the internship if the hours or dates the intern is available cannot serve our needs. Interns will be expected to work up to 40 hours per week in addition to some weekends.
  • Interns must serve their work function throughout our entire operation without the expectation of specializing in just one area of the organization.  We will try to assist interns in meeting any specific academic requirements.
